Hey my name is Melissa Respeliers. Along with being a person trainer, I keep busy coaching teams in the area. I am the varsity softball coach at St Albert Catholic High School, the junior varsity girls basketball coach at St Albert Catholic High School, the junior varsity girls soccer coach at Abraham Lincoln High School, and I have previously served as assistant coach for the Dana College womens soccer team. I also work full time at Lewis and Clark Elementary in the three year old preschool program. In my free time I like to run road races, hang out with my cats Luigi and Tyran and play Nintendo.

Education:

Graduated from St. Albert Catholic High School in 2001

Received State of Iowa Board of Educational Examiners Coaching Authorization in 2004

Graduated from Dana College with a degree in communiation in 2005

Received personal trainer certification from AFAA in 2005

High School:

Council Bluffs Female Athlete of the Year 2001, St. Albert Female Athlete of the Year 2001, Spirit of St Albert Award 2001, and Health Award 2001

Cross Country - Four year state qualifier, finishing 11th in 1999 receiving all state honors, named team MVP.

Basketball - Four years, State runner up in 2000, the only team in Council Bluffs history to have two consecutive undefeated regular seasons 2000 and 2001, named all city in 2000 and 2001, named all conference 2001, received team sportsmanship award 2001

Track - Four year state qualifier, won team state championship in 2000, won state in the 4x800 meter relay in 2000 receiving all state honors

Soccer - Three years, state qualifier 1998, named all city keeper of the year 2001

Softball - Five year starting varsity pitcher, named four time all city 1998-2001, name all state and all conference 2001, lead the city with a .485 batting average and was named Council Bluffs Softball Player of the Year 2001, named team MVP

College:

Spirit of Dana Award 2005, Champion of Character 2005, Viking Elite Student Athlete Organization leader 2005

Soccer - Started every game for four years, team captian, named four time all conference, four time all Nebraska, four time all region, and four time all American 2001-2004, holds almost every Dana College womens soccer goalkeeper record, named best defensive player and team MVP

Track - Two years, team captian, holds the Dana College indoor 400 meter dash record 2002, broke the Dana College outdoor 4x800 meter record 2003, national qualifier in the 400 meter dash indoor 2002
